A five week online experiential journey beginning on April 9, 2026.
This offering may be repeated as many times as you would like, as each offering, each circle is unique and different. There are foundational elements to every offering, however, the depth, transformation and aliveness of each circle is shaped by the life experiences of the participants and the sharing of individual stories in the sacred container of our collective circle.
We will explore the art and practice of deep listening as a way of being, knowing and navigating uncertain, stressful and chaotic times, and as a way of learning to listen to what is asking to come alive, and of connecting deeply with ourselves and all living beings. We will participate in Listening Circles centering questions that invite us to be curious as we navigate unfamiliar terrain, while remaining rooted and grounded as we learn to calibrate our Inner Compass.
The offering will be limited to 10 participants to allow for relationship and trust building. The first session will be on Thursday, April 9, 2026 (5:30 – 7:00 pm CT)and then we will meet bi-weekly on the following Thursdays – 4/23, 5/7, 5/21 and 6/4/2026.
Sliding Scale Fee: $150 – $200 for all 5 sessions.
Scholarships: Two scholarships are available per workshop (contribute what you are able and the remainder will be covered by the scholarship)

Testimonials from participants:
“When I began deep listening with Marilou, I didn’t fully know what it would open up for me. What I found, again and again, was a way back to myself.
Over time, this practice has helped me feel at home in my own body and inner world. It’s given me real clarity not just in my thinking, but in my direction. I’ve been able to sense where I’m meant to go next, and to trust myself, even when the path ahead isn’t clear. There’s a softness I feel now, a steadier tenderness toward myself, and a deeper connection to what’s meant for me.
One of the most meaningful shifts has been learning how to cultivate joy alongside discomfort. Deep listening hasn’t been about bypassing what’s hard it’s taught me how to be with what’s here. I’ve developed a deeper sense of noticing: the ability to pay attention to what’s happening inside me and around me with more honesty, nuance, and care. And in that noticing, there’s room for both grief and delight, tension and ease, uncertainty and a genuine sense of aliveness. I’ve learned that I don’t have to be quiet to be still. Stillness can exist in movement, in sound, in the middle of a full life. Deep listening has helped me be within myself even as, and especially when, the world is uncertain around me.
It has also been unexpectedly creative. This practice has offered me a renewed sense of imagination.
Marilou makes this work possible. She holds space with a calm steadiness that makes it feel safe to be honest, to explore, to be uncertain. She doesn’t rush, doesn’t impose, and never pulls you away from your own knowing. Her presence is both gentle and strong, and in that kind of support, you start to remember yourself. You start to return.
I’m deeply grateful for this work, and for Marilou’s leadership in it. It has transformed how I relate to myself, and because of that, it has transformed how I move through the world.“

“When I started my journey of healing and self-discovery with Marilou, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Being totally naïve to the practices of deep listening and somatic coaching, I was curious but at the same time a bit scared and self-conscious. From the very first session, Marilou created a safe and nurturing space that allowed me to feel welcome, and integrated with a very diverse group and allowed me to explore the depth of my emotions and physical sensations. Through Marilou’s gentle guidance, I have learned to reconnect to my body, to pause and listen to where I store my tensions, to unravel the intricacies of my emotions.
Meditation has now become a daily routine for me, leading to a greater sense of self-awareness. I feel more equipped to find my place when everyday challenges occur, a place that is unique to me and makes me feel balanced in my relationships, mind-set and overall well-being.
Marilou has such a unique, genuine and authentic way of guiding everyone through each session. There was never a time when I felt not seen heard or supported because she has such a natural ability to foster an environment where vulnerability meets compassion, understanding and non-judgment.
I feel fortunate and grateful beyond words for the journey of healing and self-discovery I embarked with Marilou, for the people that I met along the way and the transformative ongoing shifts in my life.”

“There is a sense of peace, a sense of calm that I continue to receive as I engage with my third offering of the Deep Listening cohort. I am committed to deep listening, to myself and others, really paying attention to myself – my body and my inner voice – as well as really acknowledging those around me.
The experience with this fabulous group had been a saving grace for me as I navigated an extremely challenging year in my professional life early on in 2023. The opportunity to join Marilou’s Spring 2023 came at just the right time and began teaching me how to live and listen differently – to trust in the process and to be attentive to what is going on within and around me.
I am learning how to listen to my body and how to be more grounded and settled. The practices of journaling, breathing, meditation – while there is plenty of room for improvement in consistency and length – are getting better and are “working” in terms of my inner calm and grounding.
These generous offerings of Marilou’s have been so inspiring. Each session has come at a different emotional point in my personal and professional lives and have made such a difference in helping me cope and face what is going on around me. I am in a much better space, both professionally and personally as we head into 2024. I know I still have so much to learn. This way of being and showing up in the world is a continuous project – one that requires consistent attention and practice – but it is worth everything to do. I am forever changed and extremely humbled participating in these circles, and particularly by your leadership, Marilou. Very, very grateful. Thank you.“
